Smart and Dynamic Pressure Management
The SCADASU Smart Pressure Management System controls high and unstable pressure, which is the primary cause of physical water losses in networks. Unlike traditional systems, it dynamically optimizes network pressure by analyzing real-time consumption data.
By preventing excessive pressure occurring during night hours, it prevents pipe bursts and leaks. While extending the life of infrastructure investments, it reduces maintenance costs and brings operational efficiency to the highest level.
The Invisible Threat in Your Network:
High Pressure During Night Hours
While the city sleeps, water consumption drops significantly, but network pressure continues to rise.
Physical water loss increases due to existing and new leaks caused by this surge.
Physical Leaks
As pressure increases, the amount of water leaking from cracks (per N1 rule) increases exponentially. Tons of water flow to waste overnight.
Infrastructure Fatigue
Constantly changing and high pressure fatigues the pipe walls. This "Hydraulic Stress" is the main cause of sudden pipe bursts.
Energy Waste
Giving more pressure than necessary to the network means pumps working in vain and inflated electricity bills.
The Solution: Smart Pressure Management
Pressure management is not just a device installation. it is an integrated 6-step process starting with data, shaped by engineering, and living with continuous optimization.
Feasibility
We collect existing network data, perform flow and pressure measurements, and take an X-ray of the field by identifying critical points (CP).
Hydraulic Modeling
We create a "Digital Twin" of the network with the collected data. By simulating different scenarios (Peak, Night, Fire), we calculate the most accurate design.
Technical Project Design
Valve diameters, by-pass lines, controller types, and communication infrastructure are designed by our engineers in accordance with technical standards.
DMA Establishment
We divide the network into isolated measurement areas (DMA). We make the isolated area ready for pressure management by removing external hydraulic influences.
Smart Pressure Management
NeroONE takes the stage. We dynamically manage network pressure based on demand with Flow-Modulated or Time-Based modulation.
Monitoring & Optimization
The system is not left alone. Data is monitored 24/7 via SCADA and SUİS, alarm conditions are managed, and settings are constantly optimized.
Minimize Losses with Pressure Management
A controlled reduction in network pressure directly reduces the flow rate of existing leaks. Our BKV Controller permanently lowers MNF (Minimum Night Flow) values by optimizing the pressure during night hours when consumption is low.
With this method based on Torricelli's Law, every 1 bar drop in pressure reduces water loss caused by invisible leaks in the network by approximately 20%. This means not only water savings but also extending network life and reducing energy costs.
Technical Indicator: The blue line (Flow) moves in full sync with the green line (Outlet Pressure), minimizing leaks by 40% at the end of the 7th day.
